Garage Door Technician

Job Responsibilities & Requirements Include:

- Diagnosing broken and malfunctioning garage doors & openers
- Explaining in a clear and professional manner what needs to be repaired to customers
- Repair and installation of springs, door parts, doors and openers
- Communication with head office in a clear & reliable fashion
- Experience is preferred but not required. We will train all qualified individuals

  My garage door cable broke at roughly 9:00 pm.  My car was inside the garage and I needed to leave the house at 5:00 am the next day to get my dog to a scheduled surgery.  I was in a bad spot.  I released the opener and tried to pull the door up myself but couldn't get it any higher than an inch.  I thought it was stuck or locked in some way and couldn't be opened.
I searched Google for 24-hour garage door service.  Girard's ad said he serviced Chalfont so I chose them.  Jim the owner answered on the first ring.  Unfortunately he could not come out that particular night so he volunteered to walk me through getting the door open so I could get my car out.  With his coaching I was successful and he sent his technician out to fix the door the day following my pup's surgery.
Jim was professional, kind, knowledgeable and understanding of my dilemma.  I don't think any other company I would have called that night would have been as perfect as Girard's was.
